This scene is from Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia, near Lunenburg. We visited the area a few years ago and spent the afternoon kayaking around the little islands and rock formations. I happened to see this boat and snapped a photo which I used as a reference for this painting. I hope you love it as much as I do!
