I have walked and biked across this bridge and path many times, especially when my boys were younger. I love the green spaces in our neighbourhood that allow people to benefit from being in nature even when living in the city.

Although the flowers in my reference photo were bright yellow, I chose a soft buttery colour for this composition. The resulting image is relaxing yet still vibrant. Palette knife painting and subtle collage add texture and interest. It's definitely one you want to see up close and in person!

36" x 36" acrylic painting on cradled wood panel.

Comes unframed but ready to hang.
